About

I’m Moboluwade Folarin, a full-stack engineer in Lagos, Nigeria. I’ve spent three years shipping web applications end to end, two of them in fintech and payments.

My work runs across the stack: frontends, APIs, data models, auth and payment integrations. That includes a live multi-tenant government payment platform and products I’ve built on my own, from the schema up.

What I care about most is systems that stay correct in production: secure data handling, sound access control and fast pages. Lately I’m going deeper on AI-powered products.

One simple objective: increase the average user’s screentime through beautiful UI and performant apps.

How I work

Four rules I picked up the hard way, each from one of the projects on this site.

  1. 01

    Make two things one thing

When a preview and an export must always match, don’t keep them in sync. Make them the same code path.

  2. 02

Validate in the code that runs

A type that disappears at runtime is documentation, not a defence. Checks belong where requests land.

  3. 03

    Version before you migrate

A versioned API turns a risky cutover into small, reversible steps while the business keeps running.

  4. 04

    Stopgaps ship with an exit

A mitigation at the edge buys time. It goes in with the condition for taking it back out.
